F+B Senior Associate T. Aaron Dobbs has become board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning and Probate Law. Mr. Dobbs was one of only 15 attorneys in the entire state of Texas to become Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law in 2014, and he achieved this distinction on his first attempt.
According to the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, more than 70,000 attorneys are licensed to practice law in Texas, but only 7,000 have earned the right to be publicly recognized as Board Certified specialists in one of 21 select areas of law. Achieving the Board Certification distinction requires an attorney to have been licensed for at least five years, to have practiced in the specific area of law for a significant portion of his career, pass an evaluation by fellow lawyers and judges, and pass a rigorous written examination.
Mr. Dobbs focuses his practice in the areas of trust and estate administration, fiduciary and probate litigation and appeals, guardianship contests, and estate planning.
The members of Ford + Bergner LLP congratulate Mr. Dobbs on this achievement!
