Jonathan Jabcuga, a Senior Associate at Ford + Bergner LLP, has been selected to serve on the Editorial Board of The Houston Lawyer magazine, the official magazine of the Houston Bar Association. The Editorial Board is comprised of 21 members of the Houston Bar Association who were each appointed by Houston Bar Association President, Warren Harris. Polly Graham Fohn serves as this year’s Editor in Chief.
A bi-monthly publication, The Houston Lawyer focuses each publication on specific topics important to the Houston legal community. At the 2018 annual conference of the State Bar of Texas, The Houston Lawyer won Best Publication by a Large Bar Association. Each month, the Editorial Board members are assigned tasks for each publication, including composing articles, editing articles, research, and more.
While at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Jonathan served as a member of the Global Studies Law Review. The Global Studies Law Review quarterly publishes articles, book reviews, essays, and notes from prestigious academics, practitioners and prominent students to expand the global community’s knowledge and understanding of real-world issues. Prior to obtaining his Juris Doctorate, he attended The University of Texas in Austin where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History. Jonathan represents clients with complex estate, trust, and guardianship litigation cases.
