Luis R. Castro, a proud adopted Texan, was born and raised in Mexico City before moving to San Antonio at the age of 10. Growing up in a bilingual household, Luis is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse range of clients.
Luis obtained his legal education at Loyola University Chicago. He then worked at the Loyola Federal Tax Clinic and received the Loyola Tax Certificate. His passion for tax law was further nurtured through his roles at prestigious firms such as Chamberlain Hrdlicka, where he was a trusts and estates associate, and at Ernst & Young, where he worked in Business Tax Services.
Luis is known for his excellent client relationship skills and his ability to guide clients through complex legal matters with ease. He thrives in meetings, where his approachability and communication skills shine. What truly sets him apart is his dedication to the planning side of estate law, as he takes great satisfaction in helping clients gain peace of mind and confidence through effective legal solutions. His practice focuses on estate planning and probate, particularly with clients who are on the brink of meeting estate tax thresholds.
