Ford + Bergner LLP attorney David T. Foor focuses on probate administration, guardianship, and estate planning matters. David was born and raised in the Energy Corridor of Houston, where he attended the prestigious Kinkaid School. His deep desire to serve others is what first enticed David to pursue a career in law and the experience of serving on jury duty in Harris County further strengthened his desire to become a lawyer.
David earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas where he majored in history and minored in government. During law school, he interned for the Honorable Jason Cox in Harris County Probate Court 3. There, David worked closely with a long time and well-known probate court staff attorney, gaining invaluable front-line experience and knowledge of the workings of the probate court. This experience solidified David’s interest in probate law and estate planning, which were courses he had excelled in during his law school years.
Following law school, David’s desire to serve his hometown community led him to fulfill his civic duty working as a prosecutor for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The wealth of experience David gained during his two years as a prosecutor enables him to skillfully guide his clients through their legal issues with an attention to detail, a sense of calm, and an eye on achieving their best outcome.
David listens carefully to his clients’ legal concerns and the details surrounding their situation.He believes only through knowing all relevant details and asking the important questions can he provide the best client service and ultimately their desired outcome.
David is an extrovert and enjoys getting to know his clients, and he believes taking the time to build those relationships is what sets him apart. By building personal relationships with his clients, he is better equipped to anticipate their needs while helping them achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.
David is married, and he and his wife, Harper, have two fur babies: a border collie lab and a pug puppy.
