John M. Gregory is an attorney at Ford + Bergner whose practice focuses on trust and probate litigation and guardianship matters. He represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and families in contested estate and trust disputes, as well as in guardianship proceedings, where both legal precision and sound judgment are critical.

Before entering the legal profession, John served in the United States Navy, where he developed a foundation of discipline and accountability that continue to influence his approach. After leaving active duty in 2020, he pursued his legal education while gaining hands-on experience through externships with the Harris County District Clerk’s Office and the Public Defender’s Office.
John began his legal career handling real estate and mortgage-related litigation, representing lenders and mortgage servicers on both sides of disputes. That experience strengthens his current practice, giving him a strong command of litigation strategy, case management, and client advocacy.
